Smart Alecks
I am happy that my nieces and nephews are pretty smart. I have no kids myself, so I tend to spend most of my time and earnings to spoil my nieces and nephews. Given that my brother takes care of them all by himself, I need to make sure that they can have someone else to run to other than their father. I am glad that despite the problems the family had to go through, the kids came out doing well in school and headed for the right direction.
I would usually get them educational board games whenever I come over to their house to visit. There are times when my brother would need to work late nights or even weekends, so I volunteer to look after them while he is busy. We would normally play these things in order to occupy our time. This is my small way of helping out my brother in this very difficult phase.
