Learning is a continuous, evolving process and the changes in the times always have an effect on how kids learn. Nowadays the words “interactive” and “multimedia” are thrown at the public so often with many schools promising to integrate technology and the Internet into their school curriculum. There are even learning gadgets for kids before they go to school, like the Leapster 2.
Technology has been a key factor in making education more dynamic and responsive to students’ needs, but there are still those who are hesitant to change it, and there are those who cannot afford to have it. Not all hope is lost, though, as people and institutions begin to see its benefits. There is now a worldwide movement to help schools belonging to poorer countries so that they too can improve their educational system through technology.
