Power to Fly
A Blackhawk helicopter, more commonly known as the UH-60 Black Hawk or simply Black Hawk is a military helicopter designed to specifications provided by the United States government. This is the model of my solar helicopter which is what keeps me very busy these days. I use this helicopter to teach others, specially children, about how solar energy works. The Black Hawk design makes the children more attentive to my lectures.
This solar helicopter comes in kit form and is a great educational aid for teaching children about solar power. It is designed to make the helicopter blades spin when placed in an area with sunlight. The children will get to see how all the parts go together and visually experience how effectively light energy is converted into electrical power to turn the helicopter’s blades. This is absolutely the best way to teach children about the abilities of solar energy.
