Watching Over

My sister asked me to look after her kids for the weekend as she needed to attend this important convention. She would normally ask me to babysit them and I would be more than willing to help her out so long as I have no plans. As a single mom, I feel for her that she has to work really hard to support her kids and at the same time have quality time for them.
Since I knew that they were going to come over, I got some kids games on the internet to make sure that we don’t get bored. These kids can get pretty demanding at times, and I would need to occupy their time in order for them not to look after their mother. I also have a pantry stocked with kid-friendly but healthy items, so we can all have a wonderful time this weekend.
