That will be a time for pull toys. By the age of 18 months most toddlers can walk with minimal assistance. It is the right time for pull toys. These toys help develop balance and coordination. They come in many different designs. A child will love pulling a wooden dog pull toy by the string. He will also love pull along cars and trains fitted with wheels that are easy to roll along.

Choosing the right type of toys for our children is very important. Studies have shown that the kind of toys that children play with could influence their thinking in a big way. I don’t allow toy guns to be played with by my children. I’m talking about the realistic looking toys that have flooded the market today. Instead they can create their own with the wooden toys that I bought for them.

These wooden toys come in the form of blocks and other geometrical shapes. It actually spurs the creativity of my children in creating their own toys. They can create their own guns from these wooden shapes. In fact, they can create almost anything that their imagination can conceive. I also like the fact that it is made from wood which is all natural. I don’t have to worry about any toxic material coming into contact with my kids when they play with their wooden toys.

Wooden swing sets are simply great play areas for the children and for their parents as well. They serve as timeless symbols of youthful past.

Used to be that backyard swings are constructed either from old tires or from a piece of lumber attached to a strong rope. These early swings allow parents and children to strengthen their bond within the safe boundaries of home. Today’s wooden swing sets provide the same enjoyment and security in easy-to-assemble construction kits.

Outdoor play sets provide venues for a child to stretch his muscles. When he is with friends they will be climbing and sliding or attempting to reach a higher level using ropes or ladders. Wooden play sets will be a boon to growing children. Swing sets bring the most enjoyment to children because of the exhilarating feeling that they get out of swinging in the air. They also learn to give and take as they take turns on the different play areas.

There are two important things to remember about play sets. They should be chosen not only for the variety of play that they offer but also for the level of safety that is provided. The materials used should be smooth and should not cause harm to children in the form of splinters or cuts. The play set should stand strong and sturdy. And the paint used should be non-toxic.

A doll house is one toy that little girls should have growing up. They will love collecting wooden doll furniture and spending time arranging and re-arranging the pieces. Playing with a doll house encourages imagination in children. Creativity is further supported when children try to make simple furnishings like tiny beddings and wall hangings. The parents should encourage children to make their own furnishing; but buying them readymade is also beneficial.

A doll house can be as simple as a single level playhouse open on one side or as elegant as a vineyard cottage bedecked in the manner of cottages build after the Civil War. wooden kids toys

Working as a preschool pre-school for almost three years, I was able to identify what types of educational toys works best for kids. Although we have numerous toys in school, but for my class I prefer to use wooden kids toys. They are simply, safe, durable and will hardly break. We actually have a section for broken toys—none of them are made from wood.

I prefer wooden toys because it’s easier for me to keep track on the kids. I don’t want the kids breaking a small piece of a toy and eating it. I can say that wooden kids toys are close to my heart. There are the same toys I used to play with as a kid. I remember playing endlessly with wooden blocks, a wooden rocking horse and a wooden train. My imagination would go on and on whenever I play with wooden toys in all sorts of shapes and sizes.

Kids, especially toddlers love to play. Their activities vary from steady actions of just watching and singing along with nursery rhymes, to jumping and tumbling all over the place. During these strenuous activities, parents can’t help but worry that their little ones might just get hurt when they’re doing these physical games. There’s one way though to keep them busy in one corner without moving so much. Buy them a set of wooden blocks to build things of different kinds.

Wooden blocks vary in sizes and designs. They are kids’ favorite toys because there are so many things small boys and girls can make out of them. To name a few, these include:~ a pyramid~ words when blocks are designed with alphabets~ color groupings~ cars or different vehicular toys~ robots
