playground supplies

December 28th, 2009

Develop your child’s psychomotor skills through physical activities. Build a playground using playground supplies that are easy to install given the required ground area. You can buy stairs and slides made out of plastic or fiberglass that won’t rust even under extreme weather conditions.

There are also monkey bars that will hold even the weight of heavier children. The ground clearance will be just enough for kids’ heights. These are very safe even for toddlers. Choose from different play system designs available. For instance, if you have a child with special needs, you may want to consider installing a quad climber too aside from the standard stuff.

residential playground equipment

October 28th, 2009

Playing outdoors in the park can be fun and educational for children. They can play with old friends and meet new friends. But if your children play in the park, they will need somebody to watch over them. That is possible once or twice a week but a daily trip to the park can be a drain on your time. Your solution will be to set up a residential playground equipment right on your yard. You can be doing household chores and still have your eyes on them.

You have a wide variety to choose from but the big question is the size of you space and your budget. The type of model that you will choose will also depend on the age and capabilities of your child. If you have very small children, baby swings and bucket swings are available. For older children there are swings and monkey bars, slides and ladders. The important thing when choosing playground equipment is to make sure that they are safe. Look up the manufacturer’s safety record and check if they are willing to make regular safety checks.

wooden outdoor play structures

June 11th, 2009

I started going to school when I was five. It was a big school with a big playground. Among the numerous toys there, the wooden outdoors play structures were my favorite. They seemed so much fun and safe. I hit my head once by accident on the side and it did not hurt that much. I would play for hours on end. My classmates and I would come to school early just to play in those structures. It held some of my fondest memories as a kid.

I loved it when toys and play structures are made of wood. It looks so elegant and classic. It also emanates friendliness as compare to a cold metal. I love the feel of the wood even now. Playing in the wooden outdoor play structures when I was a kid really made me appreciate the beauty of wood as an adult. Unfortunately, nowadays most of the outdoor play structures I have seen are made of plastic. They are not so environmentally friendly but I assume they cost much less than wood.

Outdoor play structures

April 14th, 2009

Kids should not be confined indoors and be allowed to play mindless game consoles or watch TV all day. Let them be physically active to develop their muscles and motor skills. Outdoor play structures are your best bets for encouraging children to come out and play. Outdoor activities let kids explore the environment while being physically active on the playground.

Always practice safety measures when letting kids play with any toys. Place your outdoor play structure in a fenced in backyard to ensure that small kids don’t wander off onto the street. Ask at least one adult oversee the children in case somebody slips and gets hurt. Have a first aid kit in handy to treat little bruises or scrapes, if any.

One way to enjoy the great outdoors is by having an electric ATV. These are fun to use on the beach or in the fields with your friends. And since they are electric, they doesn’t emit smoke and fumes that are harmful to you and the environment. It is very quiet so you don’t easily scare the wildlife that surrounds you. Some have even used them in pit areas of race tracks for easy mobility.

They have very powerful electric motors that are powered by heavy-duty batteries. These batteries can have an output of 60 volts at 100 Amps. They have full-sized wheels so they have better grip and hydraulic disk brakes for smooth and easy braking. They can go up to 15 miles on a single full charge. Cornhole

January 20th, 2009

You’ve just made a bet with your friends: you’re going to find a game they’ve never heard of, and it’s going to be something you can play anywhere, even in your backyard. Well, with Backyard Mania’s Cornhole game, you might just win that bet.

Cornhole is a game that’s similar to the bean toss. Players, whether in a singles or doubles game, pitch a filled corn bag into a raised platform with a hole on one end. The corn bag that goes through the hole gets the most points (three). The first player or team to reach twenty-one (21) points wins the inning. The game can be played by anyone–both kids and adults can enjoy this game.
